I am just starting to wrap my stash on comic book boards. What type(s) of clips, and what sizes, did you use to secure your fabric and where did you buy them?

Binder clips....any office supply store. Read an article this week about a woman that bought a tub of large ( 3 inch ) bobby pins from Sally Beauty Supply and that is what she used.

I use large plastic paperclips. make sure they are plastic coated.

If you look down through what is available, there are some that have teeth and there is one that doesn't have teeth. Since they are rather hard plastic, the will break.

I didn't use any clips. At first I was using pins - the quilting pins with the yellow balls on the end. But then I found that if a just slid the fabric in it with the fabric fold to the back, it didn't need anything to hold it. Kind of like putting a card into an envelope with the folded part in first.

You gotta be careful with the binder clips. I had one rust on me. Fortunately it wasn't on something that was important to me.

I had a bunch of the loops used to weave potholders. The loop works great to slip on the bolt or board. They don't pop off or rub off or stick me. I tie a knot in one if I need it tighter.
