Default Thousand Pyramids help

Hello all, I found this free pattern from allpeoplequilt.com called Thousand Pyramids. The pyramids are made by strip piecing 45 degree diamond shapes. The strip piecing and cutting went quick, but I can't figure out the best way to line up the intersection of the seam lines (step 6 and diagram 5 in the link). Does anyone have a trick? I've tried Googling, YouTube, etc. I can't find another pattern like this one, and the instructions given aren't clear enough for me. Thanks in advance!

You can draw the 1/4 seam line on the back of the cut edges. Drop a pin in the intersection of the drawn line and seams already sewn

As with anything cut on the bias, be very gentle in drawing that line. I think this is a beautiful pattern but all those bias edges make me shudder.

You are absolutely right-I made one sample block, and BOY was it stretchy. I think I may not do this pattern. There are other "pyramid" type patterns that may be better, or I may move to english paper piece this or one of the others. Thanks!

if determined to make it you can super starch your fabrics before you cut, stitch and subcut. That's how I did my Dear Jane side triangles.

Yes starch really helps.
Also, you can make dots instead of a line....a dotted line. no dragging your marker.
l like that pyramid design. Pretty.

You could iron a very thin interfacing on the back of fabric before cutting. That would prevent most of the bias issues.
