I have 3 sons and let me tell you- they are FINALLY making cute fabrics for boys! Not so when my boys were little. So I get to have fun making my grandson a quilt.

Perhaps a log cabin in a scrappy way (blocks being different from one another). It would be fun to search for the like fabrics and also count how many of each through out the blocks.

Disappearing 9-Patch might be cute, with the 2 darkest blues for the center square.

One of my favorite quilts is made using 10"+- wide strips of varying fabrics in 2" and 3" strips. Joined the sections sections.
