Default Does anyone know what this quilt pattern is called?

Hi everyone! I have this old quilt and I've been trying to figure out what pattern it is, but can't seem to figure it out. Does anyone happen to know what pattern this is? Thanks!!

I don't know the pattern but it's a beauty. Will be watching the thread to see if anyone knows. Gosh, I haven't seen a hand-tied quilt for ages. Love this one.

It is an interesting pattern very old feeling to it. I would be concerned about the corner bias you would have to cut to make it into blocks. I would try one and see how it goes.

It resembles Indian Hatchet maybe with sashing?

Well, I was going to disagree with Tartan, until I got my old hatchet template out and looked at it. It is the Creative Grids Template 3 called the Charming Square. Bet I've had it for almost 15 years and sadly never used it. Tartan is right. The block could very well be this Indian Hatchet.
Good scouting Tartan!

I thought it might be an Italian X block like X Block: To say or not to sash but that has squares in the center, so not that.

Then the Indian Hatchet came to mind, but it has diagonal seams in the center. https://www.quilterscache.com/I/IndianHatchetBlock.html, but if you look closely, this does not.

Whatever it is, it is definitely sashed. I'm thinking you could actually make it like an Indian hatchet if you made the side triangular sections first.

Hey, look how different a quilt looks by the way Tracy did her blocks in this link https://www.quilterscache.com/I/IndianHatchetBlock.html Janey provided.
Tracy made one block white with a colored strip across, then alternated with a color block and a white strip across.
