Default Minkie Fluff

A quilt I知 hand quilting has a minkie backing. The shreds are in my eyes, nose, ears, and on the front of the quilt. What is the easiest way to remove the fuzz from the front without washing the quilt?

You can put it in the dryer for just a few minutes, too.

Are you using the Minkie with the bubble like texture? That is extremely linty. But the newer minkie, which is pricy, isn't as bad.

A vacuum will work great. The fuzz is usually just coming from the edges that are cut.

But doesn't it keep shedding until the edges are enclosed?

lscho4jm ... At least that is my understanding that the cut edges keep shedding. With you hand quilting it, what about putting a temporary binding around the edges, to cut down on the fuzz?
