    Default Dear Jane

Is anyone still working on a Dear Jane quilt?

The one by Jane A. Stickle -

One DJ done ... but extra blocks that would make at least a lap quilt are not being worked on! Would really like to get back into the swing of things, for DJ 2.0!!

BearIsGray ... are you thinking of starting a group GTG to inspire and motivate? Let me know if you do!

Yes! Albeit slowly. I started in January, 2023, and have been sporadically working from block A-1 ever since. There are several Facebook groups related to DJ. I still love the challenge of those tiny blocks!

I was given several books by a quilting friend relocating and Dear Jane is one of them. I don't know if I'm up to the challenge but maybe if I have an online group of souls....

I haven't yet felt moved to make 4" blocks. I do have Sylvia's Bridal sampler (6" blocks) in my queue.

I'm still working (at a snail pace!) on my Sylvia's Bridal Sampler. Maybe one far off day I'll get to Dear Jane too.

I am currently working on Dear Jane (batiks with navy as background). My friend is working on a red/cream version. Someone she knows is working on one as well... so, yes, folks are working on them..
Mine has the centre portion completed, I am working on the outer triangles... My friend is at the same stage more or less. The other quilter is working from the centre outwards.
I love the process, couldn't begin to count the number of hours I have invested in this quilt...
