    Default Sun protection for quilts?

What have you used to protect your quilt from sun fading? I make hangings for my front door and they obviously fade. Is there a spray you have been successful using? Thank you

There are many sunblock sprays for fabric. I use whatever is on sale. My last purchase is from Odiff. It was marked for clearance price. I keep a quilt hanging on my front porch and so far no fading at all after spraying. The quilt may stay up over a week at a time. When I take it down I wash it.

you could also look at changing the glass that the sun is shining through. I know some of the new windows I installed block out some of the damaging rays.

I use the fading from the sun, as an excuse to make another quilt for my door.

Hard to put up a curtain to block the sun from shinning on the front door where she said it was hanging. The sun block spray for fabric works great. Most use it for outdoor fabric furniture to keep colors from fading.
