    Default Latest for charities

I'm using up a lot of my smaller pieces of fabric lately on charity items. 12 more Kennel Quilts for Cats, 6 are going to Golden, CO. and 6 to Savannah, GA. Also have 5 pillowcases from childrens fabrics for the Pillowcase Challenge. 2 are dinosaurs, 1 ladybug, 1 frog and 1 other (can't remember the fabric now!). I'll never use up all my fabric for bedqults, and this gives me something fast and easy to work on.

Yes, you are on to something here. A good but fast way to diminish stash with a purpose. Congratulations on all of those mats and pillowcases.

Great charity projects AND stash busters. Quilters are so generous with their time, talent and materials for worthy causes.

Great use of your stash to benefit others. We all have fabrics that aren't quite right for us any more, but would make wonderful charitable donations that are still lovely and useful to someone else.
