    Default Krista Moser wallhanging

This is Krista Moser's newest pattern called 1611 Union Street, a cityscape of skyscrapers. I choose to do the option of a wallhanging (44 x 44) instead of the quilt size. I'm a Krista Moser addict what can I say. As with all her quilts it went together really fast. My plan for quilting this will be what Krista used on her sample; vertical on building faces and horizontal on roof tops.

That is very cool. I applaud you for being a Krista Moser addict. Love her patterns, but I made her Hollow Star quilt and all those Y seams were nearly the death of me. Never again! Show it again once you have it quilted

Ohhh that is beautiful!! I am a sucker for optical illusion patterns. I'll have to check out Krista Moser's patterns. Thanks so much for sharing it with us.

I made Entangled Sky as my first and yes it had Y seams lots of Y seams but it was a class she was teaching and watching her made it easy. Then did Vintage Windmill (no Y seams), Semaphore Stripes (Y seams) and 6 others (no Y seams). Most of her patterns now are put together without Y seams. This was triangles, diamonds, parallelograms and hexagons cut with her rulers and they sew together in columns or rows and come together quickly.

Nice job. Optical illusion quilts are so cool. I was signed up to take a class with Krista last year and was looking forward to it. My DFIL passed away within two weeks of the class, and I had to cancel. I'm hoping she will return at some point to our state quilt show. I was signed up to take her tangled sky class, and my whole point was to learn her technique for Y seams.
