Default Color: Is it Blue or Green?

There are many things about vision differences between us all that I find fascinating. I know from language stuff that blue and green have less color names than most colors in most languages. I think "red" in English has the most variations.

I also believe we see colors differently, we might even be able to match colors but that doesn't mean we "see" the same.

This article has a link out at the bottom to take a blue/green test.

Not quite sure what it means, but my result is:
Your boundary is at hue 175, bluer than 68% of the population. For you, turquoise is green.

    1. Your boundary is at hue 186, bluer than 97% of the population. For you, turquoise is green.
    I agree.

Turquoise does not mix with blues!

There were many times when I could have gone either way, blue or green. If I took the test again and again I would get a different answer each time. But when I look at "the dress" I clearly see white and gold.

    OK ... I played and ...
Your boundary is at hue 168, greener than 85% of the population. For you, turquoise is blue.

There were a few of the panels that to me were neither blue nor green!
I just gave an answer, but did not really agree with what I said because of that.
So what does that say about me?

TBH I have some vision impairments, which already includes how I see some colours.

Sometimes it can be a real brute to me when I am picking quilt fabrics.
Or even buying clothes ... or dressing myself to be coordinated!
    arrgghhh!!!

As one person made the test as he sees the colors. then I'm not taking it that serious. The few that look green or blue is a choice. It is fun to see everyone's results.

My husband and I always disagree over colors (choosing paint is a nightmare). His turquoise was blue. Mine is green. I would love to see a yellow/orange/red test because that's another one where we always disagree.
