Yesterday I stumbled across a website named Creative Closeouts based in West Virginia. The majority of fabric is $8-$10 a yard, and they have every fabric I wanted and many that I just thought I needed, from flannels to batiks to quilting cottons. If you are looking to match a fabric that you need a little more of to finish a project I'd suggest looking on this site. I was searching for fabric for little boys to be used in quilts and pillowcases and spent over $100 on much better fabric than I could get at Joanns. Not affliated with the store, just think it's another good place for fabric.

i think this is what Quilted Twins does to keep their prices low, buy out closing quilt shops etc.

I've actually ordered three times this week. I'm a push over for nice fabric, especially kids fabric and blenders. Will let you know when the first shipment arrives!
