Even though it is a retired model, it is probably newer than what we consider vintage as it is a white plastic machine. I was hoping there would be a copyright date on the manual, but if they coded their manual date it is not evident. I found the manual on their retired models page and the manual is at https://www.janome.com/siteassets/su...book-2003p.pdf
