Hi peeps,
In need of some wisdom, intel, and leads here.
Got a Elna Zig Zag this week from a thrift shop for a symbolic 2€ as they were going to trash the machine because "it was missing the pedal." Brought the machine to my dealer who explained to me that the beauty has only the knee lever but needs a pulley wheel change that is hard to find but "easy" to replace.
So here I am, read a few threads and found that ArchaicArcane sells a troubleshooted replacement kit originated from the Elna Heirloom group. Didn't manage to get hold of them plus I am in EU so ... I am stuck.
It seems a doable replacement for me, as ArchaicArcaine posted so much on it, but I need the kit, or ?
Machine is a smaller version of Elna 2 as I understand (?) ... replacement: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LxUNe4MxxBg
I am taking this as a back up machine project and currently figuring out my primary machine.
Needless to say, newbie here and beginner enthusiastic who just learned the basics during the past few months on a Singer 7136 before sending the machine timing off. Eyeing a Juki DX7 to continue with my experimental sewing/ quilting next
Any advice is much appreciated!

I just received a post from Archaic Arcane. She just moved and apparently, it was a difficult move. I got the impression that she hasn't been working on anything else.
