I need to order some fabric for a baby quilt ("need"??), and am looking at several online retailers. In the past I've ordered from Missouri Star, Keepsake, and, back-in-the-day, Fabric.com. I've never ordered from Connecting Threads. I don't see any familiar name brand fabrics on their website, but rather that they design their own. What is the quality of their fabric? Would you say it's comparable to, say, Kaufman, Hoffman, Timeless Treasures, etc? Or is it more along the lines of Joanne?

i used to order from them often. i haven't bought fabric online in ages, though, so i don't know whether their quality and service are as outstanding as they used to be.
i'll be following this thread with interest.

I also have had no problem with any fabric ordered from them. They are one of the few US stores that offer decent priced shipping to Canada. Their customer service was excellent, the one time I needed a question answered.

There was a time, when they first started up, that they carried only their own brand of fabrics. The quality of the fabric itself was very good, but the colors were not as varied or vibrant as in other brands. Now they carry different well known brands, in addition to their own. Their service has always been excellent.

Thank you Onebyone for clarifying that they do sell brand name fabrics, infact, that is one of the reasons I have ordered from them, knowing that they have brand names. I have never been disappointed with any fabric I have received from Connecting Threads, I highly recommend them.

I have been very happy with pretty much all of the fabric I have ordered from Connecting Threads, with the exception of Mirage Tonals - they were thinner and seemed to fray easily.
With regard to brand names, the very first thing I ever ordered from them was a quilt kit by Kim Diehl. Fabrics were Henry Glass and very high quality. I’ve been a frequent buyer ever since.

I order from Connecting Threads all the time, both fabric and thread. I also use Missouri Star and Jordan Fabric as my three top go to for quilting fabric. With Connecting Threads own brand of fabric, please note that it will be wrong side out instead of folded right side out, not an issue, just something to realize when you open your delivery.

I have ordered from Connecting Threads, both patterns and fabric. I was pleased with the customer service and the quality of the fabric.
