Default Mistyfuse

Can I use Mistyfuse when a pattern calls for double sided fusible interfacing?

What kind of pattern? Applique? Most likely yes you can. Try a sample first to see how it works with your project.
Be sure to have a teflon sheet as there is no paper on it.

It is my go to product to fuse wall hanging with the quilting backing fabric.
I use it to fuse batting strips onto sashing strips as needed.

Mistyfuse isn't interfacing. It's a stabilizer. So, as Rhonda says, it will depend on how you are using it.

I use mistyfuse for fusible applique. Since it us lighter it doesn’t feel as stiff as steam a seam or wonder under. I use parchment paper when fusing it to fabric, & when fusing pieces onto background fabric. Rarely have problems with getting any on the iron.
