Default I finally finished my project, Thanks to all of you!

Our grandson works graveyard at the gas station near his house. He said it has been cold at night. He has been wearing his Dad's heavy jacket but he says it gets to hot with his hoodie and thermal on underneath. So we are giving him his Christmas gift a tad early.
A jacket that he can layer underneath and still stay warm enough while pumping gas.
As a personal touch, he loves Sasquatch. So I finally was able to embroider one and make him a cell phone pocket for his new jacket. He has red hair so I add red highlights to Sasquatch's fur.

I am so happy to see you got your machine to work Chasing Hawk.
Love the jacket. I am sure he will just love wearing it in the cold days ahead. They say we are in for a few more days of really cold weather. I could not believe the winds from the pineapple express the last couple days. It was brutally cold here in Reno. I can't imagine there on the coast. It being so damp.

Nice jacket, it will be appreciated, I'm sure.
Though my eyes loved looking at the fabrics in your stash!

So sweet of you to do that. Now, he has a one-of-a-kind jacket!

Thank you for the awesome compliments. We are dropping the jacket off with his Dad today. I will ask his to take a picture of our handsome grandson wearing his new jacket, I will post it here.

Its cold, but tolerable for now. Sometimes we get -20 below windchill here. We live near the Eastern slope of the Cascades in Central Oregon.

Great embroidery! My son likes Sasquatch, too. I’m hoping to get a quilt made for him for Christmas. I have Elizabeth Hartman’s Legendary pattern all ready to go but I’m planning to do two trees and Sasquatch surrounded by squares cut from a mythical beasts panel. Hope I can at least get the top made in time.

Can't wait to see it! Thank you for the compliment.

I have that pattern also, I want to make the Sasquatch from one solid piece and applique it onto the quilt. Alas I have no drawing skills to enlarge it to 18" tall. One day though.
