    Default Sigvaris gloves

I found a pair of Sigvaris gloves brand new, still in the box at my charity resale shop. They are for putting on the stretchy socks for keeping your legs from swelling. They were only $4 and they really grip fabric well. I am going to use them for free motion quilting my quilt. They have the same weave on the top as my Machingers but much more grip.

Great find! Always glad to learn about products that work or you actually use. I have never heard of this brand, but then I’ve only been in the quilting world, since 2018 or 2019.

Tartan - hey sure look alot like the grippy dipped gloves available in hardware stores - can you tell us if they are different?

They do look like the dipped gloves from the hardware store but have little rubbery nodules for really good grip. If you are thinking of trying the ones at the hardware store, try on a pair and rub some fabric to see if they grip or are slippery.

I've never heard of these gloves either, but I have a couple pairs of compression socks.
    I have quilting gloves and they're O.K.
I use the old kid gloves, and they work great.
