Has anyone used Moda Fireside fleece as backing?

Moda fireside fleece is 60" wide. I saw a 5 star review for it on the Fat Quarter website. I will use flannel, Minky or fleece to back a Christmas quilt.
Please let me know if you've used fleece as backing and if it was difficult to work with when quilting.

I’ve not used that particular type of fleece but have used fleece several times for a quilt backing. I do not use batting when using fleece but would if it were being long armed as my quilter wants it that way. No batting makes a soft, fluid snuggly quilt.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Fireside for backings. I load with the selvedges to the sides (on a long arm). It's wonderful! I use batting when I use it. I've found that the stitches would bunch up on my if I didn't.

I bought a bolt of Fireside and consider it one of my better investments. It makes quilt backs so cuddly and quilts beautifully. I usually use 80/20 Hobbs batting under it but recently made a quilt with no batting and there were no problems. I love the way the quilt stitches sink into the fabric. Until reading the title of this thread, though, I had never considered it a fleece. If I have to make one cautionary comment, it sheds a lot in cutting.
