    Smile crazy quilting and techniques

Sharing here my very first attempt at crazy quilting. I got a box full of small scraps to practice corner and center techniques.
Wondering if there are any other active crazy quilters here to learn from and share inspirations

I make crumb quilt blocks that look much like your crazy quilt blocks.

Hi Lena1952, do you share pictures of your quilts? That’s exactly what I am realizing, that some crumble quilts use similar techniques Thanks for expanding my view!

Plups! This is great! What stitches are you to going to try over the seams?

Thanks ibex94! That I don’t know yet, but will hand stitch probably a few different types to practice as well.
Do you have suggestions for a beginner?

That's exactly how I started quilting! My friend and mentor called it "Mile a Minute" blocks.

That’s awesome, crzypatcher! I’m doing it a bit randomly with what I have and practicing different styles. It seems it can not go wrong if there are no rules

What a fun way to play with scraps. You have a great start. Can't wait to see the embroidery on them too.

There are lots of Youtube videos and books at your library, if your prefer, with ideas for the embroidery embellishment for a crazy quilt.
