    Default Accuquilt die confusion

I was wondering if there was a die for a Go Baby (Go Me,also) for a 4 inch block. I went to the site and saw no dies for simple shapes or strips. They were all what appears to me to be applique dies. Now, I know they made them, as I have a 2.5 strip die, 5" square die (and some more I've never used that my cousin gave me), but no regular quilt dies show up on their website. I've not used my cutter for a while, so am not familiar with the changes at Accuquilt.

Are they forcing you to buy those big boxes of multiple dies?

I'm working on some "I Spy" kits for my guild and thought that a 4" die would help me make a lot of 4" squares for a certain I spy block.

Does anyone have an explanation or work around?

The Value die has a 4.5 and a 2.5 square and also a finished hst at 2" sewn. That might be a good one to look at.

You can buy the qube dies separately that fit your small Go. They are listed as replacement qube dies.

    https://www.accuquilt.com/go-die-cutter-compatibility

bkay, the Accuquilt site keeps getting harder and harder to work with. My go to is the compatibility chart to quickly see what options are actually made.

The square die 55708 is supposed to work with Go Baby (4.5" finishes to 4") Good luck!!

Research at the Quilt in A Day website. From time to time there are special prices. I believe that Eleanor Burns wrote patterns for them.
Have used the 5 1/2 or 6 1/2 onch for the II Spy blocks.

I've found their search function to be pretty helpful, if you get the right phrasing.

do you mean a 4" square that finishes at 3.5", so something that makes up a 4" quilt block?

Look under the tab that shows "straight piecing dies". You can sort by cutter sizes. However, a couple of the larger dies did come up with the Baby category.

The value die (4 inch finished square) will work with Baby. I wish there was a die that would cut 2 sets or 12 units. There is another die but it works only with Go and GoBig.

I think quilttinaday, com offers freebshipping for accuquilt, also.
