I'm working on a paper pieced quilt now, so I definitely want to finish that. Maybe it will be this year, but more likely in 2025.
I'm going to ROAD2CA in January, taking a class one day.
I'm going to a neighboring guild's quilt show in February, and I think I'll join that guild when their new year starts in March.
Other than that, make lots of quilts.

I would love to finish my modern Dear Jane quilt this coming year, but I know I'll be distracted by other things. I have a couple of quilts I've been juggling right now - a BOM through my guild and a Bigfoot-themed quilt for my son. I will participate in the Optimisim BOM by Aby Dolinger, too. I have all the fabric gathered for a purple/pink exploding heart quilt which has been on my bucket list for a couple of years. My list of quilt I'd like to make keeps growing, so I'll try to keep it slim!

Just to get all those quilts (11) quilted and out of my house as they're gifts to others. 2 will be shipped out of state. This is the same goal I try for each year and I never seem to be able to get it done. Right now I'm in a funk with quilting altogether and I can't seem to get out of it. HELP!!!!

    Happy Christmas Eve day everyone!
MY 2025 Quilting goals are: Make 2 Christmas quilts: 1 is already cut out and started to piece that was set aside for baby quilts. 2. I have the pattern and the fabric chosen. 3. Make a baby quilt to gift in March. 4. Go through my stash and give away the fabric that hasn't been touched in at least 3 yrs. I am going to stop here. Still work full time and play with grandkids on the weekends, so one day I'll make a longer list. Best of luck to all of you in reaching your goals.

I have about 8 quilts in various stages of "doneness". I'd like to get at least half of those finished this year. I also have 6 tops ready to send the the longarmer so I need to save my pennies to get those done.
Other than that I have 4 tablerunners to bind and some items to make for our donation table at the guild quilt show in April. I;ll be going to quilt camp in April and October.

    Merry Christmas
My goals will be to spend more time in the studio. I had misplaced my mojo but it is coming back! I finished my grandsons quilt and a small throw for a friends birthday. Also made a wreath hanging from Shabby Fabrics. My first log cabin project. I am excited to be back to quilting. It is for sure my happy place!

May all of our quilt wishes come true!

I am still not fully organized after my move. It will be a work in progress but it can be much more organized and nicer to work in.

High on the list of priorities is a space heater! New quilting room is downstairs and cold...

Just before/as my vision really tanked last year I bought a (used) long arm, no robotics but lots of pantographs. It is in place, but not yet set up. Was sort of waiting to see what my vision will be, but I think it will be good enough to proceed. Next eye appointment is January 3rd, so I am getting closer and now is definitely better than July was.

Then my real goal of 2025 is to work on my long arm skills and get some tops done. I think I moved 20?? unquilted projects which includes the pieced top, backing, and binding already made. I have a roll of batting ready to try even.

My goal is to have no goals….just to make what I feel like!

I will have to finish quilting and binding my 2024 A Quilting Life BOM, and finish Bonnie Hunter’s Old Town that I’m working on.

But then, no BOM’s, no quiltalongs, no Internet challenges.

Just making what I want to make when I want to make it.

I’m taking part in my guilds 2025 Finish It program. You list and number 10 projects you would like to finish and their current status. Each month a number is chosen and you have that month to finish. You may take one quilt and divide it into 10 sections as long as that section can be completed separately from other units. You must show your completed work at that months guild meeting to keep everyone accountable. We did this several years pre Covid and I finished all 10 items. It seems accountability works for me. And if you don’t finish them all, you still have made a start and gotten them to the finish line.
