Default Here Comes the Sun Quilt

Riley Blake's Here Comes the Sun was used in making this quilt top. I really must have liked this fabric as I found charm squares, jelly rolls, and two layer cakes in my stash. This one used charms, some left over honey buns and a jelly roll, the layer cakes have been cut for another quilt. This pattern has been seen a million times on Pinterest, so I didn't have to purchase a pattern. The backing will be yellow with a navy binding ( I think!). While pressing I noticed some seams didn't nest correctly and will have change those. All the scraps will be cut into 2 1/2" squares and stored for a scrap quilt. When quilted it will probably go to charity.

What a nice stash find! Love the top and it's simplicity. Will make a very nice quilt.

What a fun and bright quilt. I can see why you liked that particular fabric line. The recipient will love it.

Very nice. A great example of how scrappy benefits from staying in a fabric line. Or, is it truly scrappy if in a fabric line?
