Default a cog in a wheel pattern

What was I thinking getting this ambitious pattern. I like a challenge but yikes almost decided to not do it after trying a block but after getting my 1/8 ruler from creative grid tried it again with scraps and it worked! Took a few brain cells lol
Anyone done this pattern interested to hear tips.
    Thanks Gale

I'm not doing this pattern, stunning though!
I did find the add an 1/8" ruler a game changer for paper pieced Dear Jane blocks... sometimes the tools are worth the price!

This is a stunner! I hope you can enjoy the process. It will be great using up some of those scraps and having a brag quilt to display at the next quilt show.

Anyone who can piece that parrot quilt you did, will ace this pattern too.

You rose to the challenge and beat it. Give yourself a pat on the back. Sometimes the agony is worth the prize and what a beautiful prize it will be. Slow and steady wins the race. Can't wait to see the finished quilt as it will be outstanding!
