    Default Orange Submarines

Finished this one twice this afternoon. Thought the top was completed and then noticed a block was wrong and had to rip it out to correct it...that makes 2 times right?? Anyway this is another Villa Rose pattern named Kingpin by Molly Cook. Fabrics are by Michael Miller Fabrics from the Deep Sea Adventures collection. Love the up and down motion of the submarines and will quilt it in a wave pattern when it's warm enough on the 3 season porch this spring. My quilting to-do pile is really mounting up!

Linda hate to ask but is the border of the submarine on the bottom left correct? The blue strip looks upside down. But love the fabric where did you get it?

    I

    I noticed that, too.

I would rather change something before it's quilted -

That might be the one she had to rip out to redo. I do love that fabric and it works very well with that pattern. Keep the flimsy pile high lindaschipper! Spring will be here sooner than we expect.

Whew....turns out that the picture I posted was the one when I noticed the block was wrong and has already been corrected. Sometimes I really need a someone as my "keeper". LOL

    Glad it's okay now.

This just showed that people actually look carefully at the pictures

Cute pattern and adorable fabric. I like your idea of quilting it in waves. I've never tried Villa Rose patterns but looked up their site and their cards. They have some unique but simple patterns so I may have to give them a try, especially for charity.

I, too, have accumulated quite a pile of flimsies to quilt and started, but I hate doing a meander, so it seems to take me forever doing custom.
