    Default Stars and Plaid

Hi Quilters! QOV # 2 for 2025. I saw this picture and Connecting Threads has a kit for it called Stars and Plaids. The kit must be 16.5 inch blocks to make up their size, however mine are 14.5 and I have it about 63 x 77. Three inches shorter than I usually make, but I don’t want to add a border to make it longer. I’ll just find a shorter veteran-lol
By the way, if you saw my child’s quilt I just made and tote for new mom, the shower was yesterday and mom loved them! Her in-laws wanted to know who the (great) aunt was that made them.-lol

Toogie, you are like the energizer bunny of quilting. I don't know how you manage to turn out so many quilts so quickly. And evey one is lovely.

Another beautiful quilt for QOV by super star Toogie. You must never sleep or eat, you are so productive. My problem is my flimsies are piling up but I'd rather piece lately.

Some quilts just rise to the top because of the colours/fabrics chosen!
This is definitely one of those.

Not that it could not have been made in other RW+Bs, but it just seem those do so much to enhance the pattern/design of the quilt.

Toogie ... I'd love to see it after it is quilted and bound as I am sure it will be even more impactful then.
