    Default Civil war quilt

I had two packages of Barbara Brackman's Battle Hymn fabric and while I was recovering from a non-weight bearing broken leg, thought I could manage cutting these blocks sitting down. Travels and Christmas slowed my progress but finally got it together this week measuring at 69" x 78". I plan on quilting it on my Tiara with a Baptist Fan.

That quilt is gorgeous! Baptist fan will look fantastic on it. Can not wait to see it when you are finished!!

It came out great. The colors/fabric along with the simplicity of design lend itself to a vintage look and I mean that in a good way. It has an old quilt look, which is great in my and my husband's opinion.

Civil War Repro prints are among my favorites. I like the simplicity of your pattern choice.
