Default The Melody Quilt top is finished

This is my latest scrappy quilt - the Melody Quilt by Erica Jackman. It finished at 72"x90". It's made with 3-1/2" squares and HST. I thought it was a great way to use up some scraps, and I'm quite pleased with the results. I'll quilt it this spring when I get home. It also looks great in a controlled colorway.

Very nice. The dark (black?) framing is perfect.

I love this pattern and yes, I've got lots of scraps I could use for it, thanks.

Your use of the darker color makes the eye travel. I agree with the others lovely quilt and a good scrap buster that puts to use slightly larger scraps. Yeah!

I like this one....but almost all of my scraps are 2.5". I'll have to start saving larger pieces for when a great pattern like this one comes along.

What a great scrap quilt. Your use of a darker fabric really ties everything together and allows your eye to travel. Love it.

Your quilt top is very pretty. I like how you kept the neutral colors together to form another kind of pinwheel. The block was east to figure out so thanks for showing us. Your color placement was spot on! I think if I cut some 3inch I could get my size for a fun red, white, and blue. Would make a good one for July 4th.
