    Default Hooterville

I've had this kit from Connecting Threads for years, and after making a larger quilt decided to make something fun.
Here is Hooterville by Brandywine Designs. It finishes at 46" square and took me a week to make. Applique is raw edge with a buttonhole stitch and the eyes are french knots. I quilted it with a diagonal grid using my walking foot and its guide. Amazingly they must have sent additional fabric by mistake because I still have 41-10" squares of the bright fabric left! And here I thought I was getting one more PIG done LOL

This is what I call a happy quilt and some child will surely be happy to receive. Wow! That is a lot of additional fabric!!!

I did too! I loved that show. I watched it with my grandmother every week. I always wanted to go in the water tank!

Cute quilt. I love it when a kit is generous with the fabric. It gives me a margin for error, and also more options to change the design or make a larger quilt.

    How adorable!
When I heard the name it reminded me of something but I couldn't think of what. Now I know!
Wasn't that the show that had Billie Jo, Bobby Jo, and Betty Jo????

Petticoat Junction! Toot, Toot. Love the applique! I've seen a lot of applique lately--inspiring me to want to applique something.
