    Default Honey Buns is finished

I've never had this much trouble quilting anything on my domestic machine as I did this one. New spool of thread kept splintering, changed to a new batch of size 14 needles and went through 5 of them and then I broke an additional one. The walking foot distance bar kept slipping out of place, ended up using Frog tape to secure it in place. It was quilted in a cross-hatch pattern so need the lines to be somewhat straight! You name it and it went wrong. But it's finished and I got my hubby to hold it up for a picture. Tomorrow it goes to Project Linus. It was trouble, but sure is pretty.

Sorry for all your troubles. Congrats on sticking with this quilt until you were done. Knowing it will bring JOY to someone else makes it all worth the journey.

I've made more than one of those un-cooperative quilts, too. I gave one to my granddaughter and I named it 'the quilt from hello. I think she liked the name more than the quilt!
