    Default Hartford’s quilt

Hartford was born in 2021 when we were in the midst of our first move. We had almost no contact with her parents and didn’t even realize she was on the way until after she was born. We haven’t given it yet, I’m glad to have it finished. Hartford is Noah’s cousin and we gave his quilt a few weeks ago and I posted it here.

When this was finished I still didn’t have the quilter together. It was quilted on my DSM in straight lines. I got the part for the quilter last week and spent all day Saturday in the sewing room putting the frame up and organizing and cleaning. I’ll be posting the room next!

Sometimes life gets in the way of plans. Better late than never LOL and I'm sure Hartford will be thrilled with her new gift

Beautiful quilt! The straight line quilting looks great.

Wow, that is one colorful quilt! I am sure a child will love the bright colors and patterns. So nice of you to make it for them.

Hartford got her quilt today. Her grandmother told me earlier this week that she’s really getting into textures and she will feel things and tell the adults if something is “cozy.” She told us that the quilt is cozy. That will do a quilter’s heart good!
