    Default Practice quilt for Elise

Before today I haven’t touched the quilter in 3 1/2 years, so I wanted to test it out and practice some before doing a “real” quilt. I got 2 1/2 yards of the least expensive fabric I could find at Joann. I put a yard on for the top and a yard for the bottom, A scrap of batting, watched some YouTube videos, and used up all of the odd bobbins quilting different designs on this. Then I used the last 1/2 yard to bind it, and now the dog has a quilt.

Great practice quilt and happy doggie!! What more could you ask for?

Back when I first got my LA I did that several times as practice then used the quilted fabrics in crafty items. The quilting looks great - does not appear that you will have any problems on your "real" quilt!!

Very clever way to practice and use what you have done for a good purpose. Glad you are back in the sewing and quilting swing.
