    Default Bundle of Joy

Here he is holding up my latest baby quilt/play pad for me. No pattern was used, as I changed my mind 3 different times on what to make out of two charms packs of Riley Blakes pink "Bundle of Joy". Started out thinking HST would be cute and had the backs marked but didn't cut them thankfully! Then changed my mind and cut some of the charms in to bricks, and ended up with this simple baby quilt. I do tend to over think things....LOL Just straight line stitching and used the same fabric for the back as I did my heart quilt. Big enough for a baby quilt or a play pad for the floor.

Sometimes "simple" shows off the cute fabrics better. This is adorable, as is your helper. What a fun and bright baby quilt. Did you use your walking foot with a spacer bar for the quilting? I like the effect of the straight line quilting on this.

Emiliasnana.....I did use a walking foot, but I had marked the quilt top before layering it as a sandwich, I have a steel yard stick that I used and marked it as straight as I could.

Lovely quilt! I like the straight line quilting also. Good job, mine tend to get off a little. I have to check every 4 lines or so. I use my 4 foot metal ruler to realign!

Love this quilt. The combination of squares in the center and the rectangles around the outside work very well together. The straight line stitching ties it all together. Great job. Good looking assistant.
