    Default Drop Diamonds

Hello Quilters! This is the pattern Donna Jordan was working on last. It’s by Cozy Quilts Designs. Of course I had to make it for a veteran in patriotic fabrics. Showing front and back before quilting. It may be a while before Lynn can quilt this one, but I did recently get 4 quilts back that I should show you the quilting on. Beautiful job she does. Have a nice day, friends.-Toogie

Another wonderful quilt toogie! Tell us, do you ever make the same pattern twice? Seems as if you post a different pattern each time.

Another winner from you, Toogie! I'm still in shock over that sweet woman dying. Ugh. I loved watching her and have made several of her tutorials.

I try not to repeat a pattern. I like the challenges of figuring out the pattern and piecing it or making up my own. Once I make one, I rarely make it twice. Thank you for looking and commenting. I just finished another one but was reluctant to post, bc not too many looking or commenting.

I think the news shock all the quilting world. I feel so bad for the family and husband. It’s just so sad to loose a kindred spirit.

I love this one! There is something so clean and fresh about the mix of light and dark blue with white.

Hello Toogie! I'm sorry that I'm just now finally commenting. I usually only read on my phone when I have a few minutes here or there, as typing on my phone isn't the easiest. I haven't sat down at the computer lately to comment on post, but when I saw what you said, even though I'm on my phone, I had to comment.

Please keep posting. Your quilts are wonderful and an inspiration. They especially mean a lot to me as I am the wife to a Marine veteran, mom to an AF veteran and a current Army National Guard solider, and another son considering Army. Thank you for all you do!! It doesn't go unnoticed, even when you may not hear. Many blessings to you Toogie!!! Keep pressing on!
