Default Bargain Brothers

Have you ever been to a Bargain Brothers store? It's an experience. I kept telling myself one day I'll find a box of precuts or fabric. Well yesterday I scored a box of full of the Spin Me Around quilt kits! Six kits in total for $4. Monday is $4 day. . I have all my Christmas presents for my quilt group. That store is addicting. Nothing is over $15 and each day the price goes down until it reaches $1 day Wed. Starts over on Friday being $15 with all new inventory. I do not go on Fridays, too crowded with resellers there.

We have something like that near us -- but I haven't been yet. Now that I can drive maybe I'll put it in my browsing category... is part of why I enjoyed the thrift store hunting in Seattle, whatever you wanted/were looking for you would find eventually.

Not many things I really want right now but I hadn't considered there would be unwanted fabric...

No Bargin Brothers in my part of the world. I suppose I could drive up into Arkansas to visit one but I need a really good reason to drive that far. I'll have to search Conroe to see if they are close to hot springs to soak in :-)

Most of the boxes in the bins say Amazon but I have no idea where the rest of the items are from. It's just all random stuff. You never know what is in the boxes and you can open the boxes and test anything before buying. I go on $4 or $2 day and find amazing bargains on brand new items.

They have one an hours drive from where we live, but it is called Discount Bins and I only go on Wednesdays for everything is $1 and on some Wednesdays they drop it to 50 cents in the afternoon. I did go on a Friday one time, but at $15 each I found nothing that I wouldn't find on the $1 days.

I've never heard of them, which is surprising bc we have nearly every discount store. Dollar General, Family Dollar, TJ Maxx, Ollies, Harbor Freight, Sierra Trading Post... Walmart is probably the most "upscale" thing around.

I'm leery of buying fabric from discount stores. Some used to get deals at Tuesday Morning, which has closed. It's not branded, so I stayed away.

Too many resellers there on $15 days and a line starts filling up at midnight! But it's not chaos. The electronics are behind the counter on shelves and you get to choose two items to look over/test before buying. The rest are in bins. Plenty of room to sort/test what you think you want to buy before paying for it. The one here is in an empty walmart store, huge. My counter said I walked over 4000 steps while in the store. I do see the restock trucks at the back of the store almost every day. The old walmart isn't empty and being used so that's good. Plenty of parking. LOL
