    Default IceBlossom and Bison :)

I got enough selvedges together to make some more blocks this week, exceptionally fun was using up the squisy envelope that came from IceBlossom.

Oh, what clever selvages! I have a quilting buddy that saves them so I donate mine to here, but you'v got such a clever grouping. Keep posting your progress, loved wandering through the blocks and chuckling at some such as Grizzly Gulch Gallery and the bison of course.

Oh I like what you are doing! I have been tempted once again to make something with selvages but I fear I would never have enough to finish. A lady in our group made small zip bags from hers and I liked that too. Good for you to not waste any and for Iceblossom helping you out. I suspect she has helped others, including me, out before. Keep going with your blocks because they are coming out well.

Kalama makes many wonderful things with those selvages. I am so impressed with the many things many of us do that would never either occur to me or tempt me Fortunately, I have never been tempted by the selvages!!

A lot of time dealing with my scrappy projects I don't have good selvages, but sometimes (especially when I cut lengthwise or make backs) I have some nice long usable pieces and I know where they can find a home.

I have depended on the kindness of friends and members here for my selvedges project, fat quarters and 1/3 yards are yardage for me as a total scrapper so I seldom get any for myself. This is a long term project for sure, 4 or 5 years so far.

Kalama....I'll try to remember from now on to save my selvages to send you. Scraps and Fat Quarters....what type do you use...CW, brights, florals, tiny prints, etc? I'm going through my fabric this week and may have some that your can use.

thank you LJG, with selvedges style doesn't matter, it's all just color. They just need to have 1/2-3/4" of color .the ones that have just 1/4" of color, the color doesn't show because it's all seam allowance. that I'm turning into sashing/borders

this is where I am, pushing for the completion on this 4-5 year gathering project I keep changing the center, and the corners, nothing quite sings yet but it will, currently it looks like about 80"x90"ish. I'm going to use my colorwash on the reverse side

I made the armchair caddy a few years ago, it went to a member here as I no longer hand sew, the reverse side was leftover blocks from the 360 challenge.
and I've given the lanyards to many members here too Selvedges, good to the last drop! So grateful to the members here for adding so much fun to my life!

What an amazing adventure you have embarked upon! The ones with the color dots are my favorites! I purchased a zip bag of selvedges at our last guild fabric sale..... You inspire me to work with them.
