Default I hope to see great quality fleece again now that JoAnn's has closed

Hi. I know that JoAnn's Fabrics is no longer, and they got rid of all of their inventory but was wondering if any other company will take on the fleece that JoAnn's used to carry. I sew for several animal rescues, and I was so disappointed to hear of the liquidation. While I did get some fleece during the liquidation I will always need more, and I felt that JoAnn's had the best fleece (literally hundreds on their website). I wish I had gotten more....their sales were great.

Hoping the fleece shows up again with another company.

If you know what brand Joann's carried, you can do a search for another source for it. Or for something comparable.

Hobby Lobby sells fleece. The last I bought has held up fine over the years, no pilling and no stretch spots.

I too was thinking of Hobby lobby, their 40% off week is a great time to get some. They will be my go to now. I realize that the variety isn't as extensive as Joann's was, but at least it's an option.

I read today online somewhere, that Michael's would be expanding into more yarn and fabrics now that they have bought out JoAnn's catalog. Huh! I knew JA's merchandise would end up somewhere else, but I never expected it to be Michaels.

I completely understand your disappointment, especially when you are involved in a project as valuable as sewing for shelters.

Hoping to see more fabric in Michael’s but not more of the junk that JoAnns had been carrying! Towards the end they brought in so much other stuff. Like a liquidation world! Not what I wanted to see from a fabric store.

I really don’t have a source for fabric that I can buy that’s not online. I like to look and feel the fabric. I have Walmart but their fabric department is very small. Our Hancock's closed years ago. I’ve been making scrap quilts to use up some of my stash but miss going into a fabric store.
