I haven't posted pics of any my quilts in quite a while. I had a few minutes this afternoon and I thought I'd post some.
This is a quilt I made for my cousin's adult son. The pattern is called "Clippings". I really like this one. It was all made from stash fabrics and I like it so well, I'm thinking of doing another one

Stash quilts can be their own beauties and show pieces ... and this is one of them!
Anthony must be so happy with your kindness.
CashsMom ... Do you do any placement planning of the colours/fabrics, beyond the bottom right white/dark?
Or just let the rest of the colours land where they do, on their own?
Also, I understand what you are saying as to the how to ... except ... the way I would make them, the black/white QST part, each set would make one with the black on the bottom, and the other with black on the side. So there must be a way to get all the blacks to the bottom, whites to the sides, without wastage? That is, unless you have a 2nd quilt made the other way?
... Can you please help me see through the fog, here?
THANKS!

As I remember, I had to make those one at a time. I made the blocks randomly and then placed them on the design wall and shuffled them around as I made more and decided what colors I needed. I don't usually have a plan for scrappy quilts. They always seem to work out.
