Default stumped finding linen in small amounts

I've been looking for an hour and can find samples (1") and fat quarters and from there to yardage.
I'm doing a slow stitching project and linen is a fabric I don't have with the exception of a 30+ year old dish cloth.

I want more than neutrals, do any of you have a source you can share of maybe 5" to 10" scraps/precuts?
    I've tried ebay, etsy, amazon.

Is not the fast way but I'd be looking at estate sales and thrift stores for linen in with the linens, especially the fancier ones. There are many weights and types, but damask you might be able to find in colors -- now whether or not they are colors you want is another matter! When looking at household "linens" make sure you check out aprons too.

Unless you're wanting new fabric, I'd do as Iceblossom suggests and scrounge thrift stores. My friend was collecting tablecloths for her daughter's wedding decoration and I was surprised what we found in thrift stores. If you end up with too much, I've been using old linen for years to clean glasses and dust or polish furniture. Works better than any of those fancy new cloths.

Crossstitchers use linen. It comes in different colors too.

thank you all! I've found what I need, I love when multi-brains are involved.
This is what I'm doing so small pieces ...4" blocks. I stopped hand sewing about 5 years ago due to eye problems, but this is improv and the only rule is no stitch redos It is part of my self-directed grief therapy along with using a Wind Phone
