    Default 9P, stars and skulls

I have been busy with purples. My nephew asked for a king size quilt with purple. I had most of these in stash with teals he loves the 9P and rails quilt

to use up leftover, I made these split Ohio stars. As I got it put together a
i had a request for a teenage boy. And his favorite color was deep purple. With what little I had and raiding my sisters stash I made him these Candy Skulls by Margot Languedoc

I am so over purple now 😵‍💫

You’ve done a good job on all three. I like 9patch and laying them out with the rails all on point was a good idea. Also, I’ve never seen the Ohio Stars made like this so you’ve given me an idea for veteran quilts. Great work!

Love them all. I bet you'll be happy to work on something without purple next!

Fantastic quilts! Love them and I'm not normally a 'purple person'.

The skull quilt made me smile...how nice of your sister to share her stash with you.

I like purples in moderation. I have it sprinkled it into the main rooms of my home downstairs. It is so discrete that my sister, who has been in my house many times, did not realize it was dusted into my powder room, rugs, paintings, accessories and even in my couch. It made me chuckle when she saw one thing and asked, "Why did you get that in purple?". I had to point out the other things to her.
The quilts you made are fantastic in my eyes.
