    Default The Wave

    I saw another quilt picture-lol
i actually finished piecing this one on June 13th. I thought I’d get it quilted before showing it here so maybe it would look better. My first time cutting and piecing with the drunker’s path ruler. May be my last time too-lol
Pieving wasn’t a problem although it is too slow for me. It was placement. No reason it’s named drunkard. I ripped several of my sqs out because I had ran out of a matching color to continue across and down or a couple I needed to turn. Anyway, it’s for a veteran but I must save it for a young person bc it may make an older guy (like me too) dizzy. Maybe when it’s quilted I’ll add to this post. Anyway, this is the top, not quilted.

Oh, I like the arrangement very much. I enjoy sewing the drunkard's path bloxka so may have to give something like this a try soon. It would make an interesting table runner. I have templates that end up making 4" blocks.

Toogie: This would be a great idea if you ever cared to do it again. Personally I like it as is but it is definitely an idea worth considering LOL

I really like the way it turned out. But I understand why you don't care for something that gave you so much trouble.

Great pattern. I totally understand about placement. I just finished one and I had to figure out what went where with every piece. None of the, make x number of this block and y numbers of this block. I love the way yours came out.
