    Default Moda Americana Holiday

Hello Quilters! I made this one last week and I’m loving the look. I think it went together very well. It was a box kit of fabrics and pattern from fatquartershop. I added a 5.5 cut of blue outer border to bring it up to 64x82.5 and I also cut each of my background strips an inch wider than the pattern to help get my length. Not a regular quilt of valor look but still a patriotic quilt. I will bring it to be quilted Thursday but decided to go ahead and show you my front and back of piecing.
I haven’t been sewing as much as I usually would bc in 6 weeks we lost 4 cousins. Hubby lost two and I lost two. Ages were from 61-87.

Condolences for your families. I have many cousins and would be devastated at losing one.
Toogie, I am still loving The Wave quilt, and then you create another great one! I was wondering how you outlined your pinwheels with darker colors. Then, I enlarged the pic and realized it was the back! Well done, as always!
