Default my big selvedge quilt...with a little help from friends

I finished my long term project this morning!! I could spend the rest of my quilting life working with selvedges and die happy. They took me forever to gather though, so only have two smaller projects going with them now.
I think it's about 84X92, have already forgotten. I will back it with my color wash, don't know if I have all I need but there is a box full of 3.5" blocks calling my name thank you all for past and future sharing of your selvedges.

That's fantastic! What a great use of fabric that's really just meant to be discarded. You showed those thrower-awayers! :-D

A beauty for sure. I always donate my salvages to a quilter that just loves them and does create quilts with them. Congrats on a finish and keep going. They are so interesting for the rest of us to gaze at.

That's totally amazing! I would never have thought that selvedges could be so useful.

It looks like there's a little fabric in addition to the selvage section. How wide of a strip do you typically use for your selvage projects?
