    Default Stamp basket quilt

Pattern by Pat Brown this was a kit I bought from a late quilter’s stash. It was very generous with fabrics. The pattern was for a 2 X 3 layout of 12” blocks. There was enough to enlarge it to 3 X 3. I ran out of background but have plenty of the basket fabrics to make a little charity quilt

Oh I would have snatched that up in a hurry if I had run across it at a sale. Very nicely done. What size did it end up being?

It ended up 44” square. And I got it for only $6. What a deal

Very pretty quilt! I love that the quilt was made from a late quilter's stash. I often wonder if when I am gone what would happen to my stash.
I am showing my age here, but, wasn't this a postage stamp many years ago?

It's a delightful quilt. Quilter's stash sales are good places to find bargains, and to help the family of the late quilter.

Such a sweet quilt! It's even better when you consider what it cost!

What a very lovely wall hanging. The former quilter would be proud that you fulfilled her dream of making it someday. I have a LOT of somedays in my stash too. Hope I live long enough to see them, or someone like you will fulfill that dream.
