I need to buy a walking foot for a Janome 2003P and would like to purchase something generic if possible, as I'm seeking to be economical with this. Does anyone have a suggestion as to a brand? I see several on Amazon but am overwhelmed with the many choices. Thanks.

As an owner of 3 Janome machines, I will admit that the walking foot attachment is very expensive ($90) for this brand. Some generic onces are made wtith plastic in the area screws to the shaft and therefor are breakable. I would stick with metal parts as much as possible such as the Yeqin brand (less than $20). As long as the walking foot you pick is low shank for your model 2003P, you should be in good shape. Just my two cents worth...
