    Default Autumn Splendor

Autumn Splendor from the book Royal Treasures by Deb Tucker, every pattern in the book uses just the Hunters Star block. I used the Hunters Star ruler by Creative Grids and the blocks finished at 8 inches. All batiks from my stash, 90 inch wide minky backing in forrest green, soft and bright batting. I chose my go to pantograph Kepantos, for an all over texture, finished at 80x80.

Quite an unexpected beauty in an array of lush colors. I read "Autumn" and expected leaves but what a surprise of loveliness when I viewed your photos.

That's a beautiful quilt. Hunter's Star is a favorite of mine.

Love your quilt! The bright colors, the negative spaces, the minky backing, everything is wonderful! Plus, it's named after me!

Everything goes together so well, it's truly beautiful. I've never made a Hunters Star, but may now have to put it on my bucket list. Thanks for sharing!

I've used Deb Tucker's hunter star templates on only 1 quilt so far but I'm loving all your colors in yours. Nicely done and makes me want to make another one using what's in my stash too. Great job!!

Such a cool take on the hunter star. Love the circular pattern. Your colors are beautiful too. Well done!
