First is a balloon ball cover that was posted on my online guild with the pattern info. Here is the link for the templates:https://lindas.com/products/fun-time...n-template-set

A main body of a deflated balloon is inserted into a small hole in the hexagonal end. Then with the stem exposed you blow up a 12" round balloon, tie it and insert the knotted end inside the cover. The balloon now acts like a ball that you can dribble, play inside or outside and not worry about a broken balloon piece being swallowed by a toddler. Great fun for all ages. Our one year old granddaughter LOVED it.

Next is the quilt from MSQC called: Ingrid's Flower Garden that I made for our granddaughter. First a close-up of the posey quilting, then a better colored picture of the embroidery and the printed cuddle backing. Last a picture of our granddaughter and our daughter. I did some of the embroidery while I had a non-weight bearing break of my femur, and finished while watching TV in the evenings.

What a pretty quilt!! Your comment about having non weight bearing time does not sound like it was fun but your embroidery is gorgeous.

Oh my gosh, we have one of the original Balzack's and now grandsons love it. They stopped making them for awhile, but are now back in production in many sizes. Love that there is a template and pattern so you can customize your own. Our almost 5-year old twin grandsons love the one we have, so maybe I will make them ones in their favorite colors.

Your embroidery is just lovely. What a special quilt for a special little girl. You must have already known how to do embroidery?

I especially like the ball! I once made a fishing cork ball (liked like a big bobber) and some snowballs. I think I'd like to try this one too. Good job on all your items.
