While I have not used the collection you are speaking of I adore AGF! They are silky yet 100% cotton and are a dream to work with. I have a nice collection of AGF fabrics and several quilts made exclusively from them and they have held up just fine with no issues.

Art Gallery is top of the line in fabric finish. The prints are usually not to my taste though but it feels divine.

I've done a couple of quilts 100% in Art Gallery fabrics. Mostly their solids, but have also used a print or two. The hand is lovely. I have another in process right now.

That reminds me that I need to by their color card for the solids if they offer one.

I've resisted buying the 'Lower the Volume' series, but I would have no hesitation on using any AGF fabric in a quilt. It does have a unique feel.
