    Default Storm at Sea

I have always wanted to make this pattern, and happened to come across one at a quilt expo that included the paper pieces. I think you can make it without, but was happy to make it the paper pieced way. The print fabrics were old "tiny viney" Cranston/VIP fabrics that I found at the thrift store. It is a nice lap size. Off the bucket list! Thanks for looking.

    Pretty!

Some of the old VIP fabrics are - in my opinion - very good quality.

I still like tiny-viney prints. Many of them read like a solid from a distance.

The Storm at Sea is also on my bucket list, where did you find the paper pieced version as I love paper piecing?
    Nice job by the way.

Lovely work! And those leaves make a nice quilting pattern for it.

I love the two tones and have always wanted to make it too. Pieced or paper piecing is fine but I have so much on my plate right now, it will have to wait. I hope mine comes out as lovely as yours.
