Default 301 problem

I posted previously abut this problem, but I wasn't sure what was happening.

I finally figured it out. The feed dogs are not working properly. They don't always match the stitch length. Actually, they sometimes won't change the "speed" to match the stitch length when the length is changed.

My guess that they are gummed up, but have no idea on how to remedy it.

Any ideas?

I cleaned the area last night. We'll see how much better it works.

That would be my guess, too, either lint or dried oil. See private message.
