    Default Exploding Hearts

Got this one done today finishing the binding. It will head for an quilt auction for the disabled in April. I used silver thread to quilt it. The E2E I used came from Urban Elements called Curls & Hearts. Still working on my stitch in the ditch. Can't remember the name of the border pattern I used but I think it came from Ellen Munnich's site.

Tried to use up my miss cut pre-cut 5" squares but the pattern called for 5.5" colored squares. Next time I'll just resize the pattern to fit the fabric.

Lovely! I like your color choice and never thought about silver thread to quilt it. I used white.

I find silver or pale grey thread shows up without being too bold on white background. I rarely use white thread these days.

Love your quilt! I have been planning on making one similar but still not able to make anything yet. It should do well at the auction. Beautiful quilting too.
